BANGALORE INTERNATIONAL ART FESTIVAL 2010
Group Music, Dance, Folk, Rock, Jazz Bands, Classical & Bollywood Dance competitions
1. A group of 10 people including the accompanying artist
2. The competition will happen in two rounds elimination round and the final
3. There will be 2 prizes announced winner and runner
4. The groups can come from recognized government or private educational or cultural organizations
5. the students participating should carry a letter from the head of the organization and the entire group should be from the same organization.
6. The age group is 15 to 25 yrs as on sep 2010
7. The groups should look for the rules given and abide
8. A NON REFUNDABLE entry fee of Rs.1000/- to be paid at the time of registration
9. Decisions of the judges are final and irrevocable
10. Elimination round will happen on 26th sep 2010 at 2:00 to 4:00pm
11. Final round on 30th sep 2010 at 4:00 to 6:00pm

Rules for Elimination Round On 26th sep 2010
1. The group should have 10 performers including the accompanying artists
2. The groups in the preliminary round will be given 10mins+2mins which includes sound check and stage set up
3. The groups should perform items with in the given time ( not less than 5 to 7 minutes)
4. The groups can use live instruments ( the participants should bring their own instruments)
5. Live drums will not be allowed or provided due to logistic problems
6. The entire background music should be played live and hired professional accompanying artists are not allowed.
7. For Dance troupes CDs can be used.
